Jane Hatton - My back ground:  I was born in Stoke By Nayland and have always grown fruit and vegetables.  I worked for a company called SimpleGrow Limited who supplied horticultural gifts into the retail market.  Once I had children, I became more interested in where the food I bought came from and what was being put on it and six years ago set up The Organic Box as I could not find a box scheme in the Sudbury area which supplied local produce.  I converted my 13 acres in Newton Green to organic and am certified by the Soil Association.

Jane’s scheme  is operated by The Organic Box in Sudbury.

Marina O’Connell  BSc Horticulture, Master of the Environment (MEnv), Diploma in Permaculture Design, and a Certificate in Process Oriented Psychology.  She is a mother,  an Organic farmer, a trainer, Permaculture designer, and Transition trainer, and works at combining the practice of process work with her environment work. Marina has worked in these fields for 20 year weaving together the skills to create gardens and to work creatively as a trainer. She is a Director of the Apricot centre in Essex. Chris and Ian Learmonth run a farm located in the beautiful Suffolk countryside on the gentle slopes of the Stour Valley. We have a passion for our land and believe it provides an ideal environment to raise livestock in a way as close to that which nature intended. The air is clean, the grass is lush and green and the way of life is idyllic, giving our animals are raised outdoors as much as possible with ample room to roam and eplore. We supply; lamb, beef, pork, chicken, turkey, apples, free-range eggs, pies, sausages, pork bacon, burgers and more. We accept orders large or small from a BBQ to a Banquet.
